About us
Founded in Chiang Mai in 2026 by a founder and designer who shared one belief — that the best objects are made slowly, with full attention.
Khun John had been running a business in Bangkok for several years when he moved to Chiang Mai and discovered the world of traditional weaving. He met Khun Alice — a talented designer with a passion for natural materials — and together they saw an opportunity to bring handcrafted lamps to more homes.
They spent a year working together before selling a single lamp — learning from each other, refining shapes, and building trust with the families in the surrounding villages who would become our workshop community.
What we believe
We pay our weavers above the regional average and share a portion of profit with the village cooperatives. We believe good work deserves fair compensation — and that this is the only way to sustain the craft.
We use only mountain-harvested rattan and highland bamboo, prepared without chemical treatment. The natural variation in colour and texture is not a flaw — it is the material speaking for itself.
We work with eight artisan families and have no plans to scale beyond what we can oversee directly. Growth that compromises quality is not growth we want.
When something takes longer than expected, we tell you. We do not send automated delay emails — we call or message directly. Every order has a person responsible for it.
